More Amazing Things People Leave Behind (Part 4)

by Jon on November 2, 2010

It’s hard to understand some of the things people leave behind.  But in this case it’s hard to decide exactly what one should do – take it with or leave it behind?   For example, how would one take a complete blacksmith shop along?  On the other hand, how could one leave it behind?  So there must be more to this story than I’ve been told.  But here is a home in a beautiful remote setting attached to a complete blacksmith shop along with all the tools, machinery and raw materials to create things like wrought iron gates, fences, and decorative iron works of any type.  Look at the hinges on the huge double door that opens up into the shop where all the machines are for example.   There is also an outdoor shop and a storage area where tons of steel bars, angle iron, and other raw materials are kept.  I suppose for the person leaving it might be helpful to adopt the point of view “…leaving old things behind and starting all over again”.  No doubt it would take a very special kind of a buyer to move into this place.  As for me, this is another example of what keeps my work interesting.
